for some reason, the trackpad mouse cursor is jumpy, and will it help to reduce the dpi on the mini keyboard.

Your I8 mini keyboard may need to be re-paired with its USB dongle. There 2 methods you can use to re-pair your remote. With the USB dongle not in the USB port of the device and the remote is fully charged, try:
Method 1: With the remote switched ON, press and hold the ‘F1’ and ‘Fn’ keys at the same time. The blue light should begin flashing. Plug in the USB to the device and the blue light should stay on.
Method 2: With the remote switched OFF, press and hold the ‘F1’ key, while switching on the remote. Plug in the USB to the device. The yellow light should stop flashing and the blue light will stay on.
